GEBA Balloon Festival Participation Survey

GEBA Members are encouraged to attend this year’s GEBA Members Meeting and Awards Luncheon on Sunday, May 15th, 2022 from Noon to 5 pm.   This is an outdoor event to be held at Van Horne Park, 5 Crescent Avenue, Rocky Hill, NJ 08553 and cost is $20 per person.

The Tiger’s Tale of Princeton, NJ is catering the event.
The menu includes:

November 7, 2021 Annual Meeting:

The November 7, 2021 General Membership Meeting will be held via Zoom due to the ongoing pandemic.
We have a mechanism in place for a “live” Board Election during the meeting. It will work as follows:
• You will be supplied in an email – prior to the meeting – with a link to a password-protected form
that will serve as a virtual ballot. The password will be announced verbally immediately following
the candidates’ statements at the meeting.
• In lieu of the usual sign in procedure, you will be required to enter your name in the field provided. The secretary
will verify your eligibility and strip your name from the spreadsheet before handing the data off to the
judges.
• Polls will remain open until 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time on Sunday, November 7, 2021. We
anticipate being able to announce the results at some point on Monday, November 8, 2021.
• Absentee ballot must be returned to the Secretary on or before November 3, 2021. As always, members who returned their absentee ballots will be ineligible to participate.
Complete details will follow regarding other aspects of the meeting including log in information.


May 2, 2021 Meeting:

We will hold a Zoom membership meeting on May 2, 2021 beginning at noon. You will be receiving further emails with login information for the meeting. All of you will be able to access the meeting via, computer, tablet, iPad, or telephone. We encourage everyone to join us. During the meeting please feel free to enjoy your lunch as we would during a normal meeting.


Virtual 2022 Calendar Photo Contest
HERE IS HOW IT WORKS: You must enter your photos electronically. Please email your photos to Robin Smith at robinsmith@optonline.net AND Kenny Adamsbaum at kadamsbaum@aol.com no later than April 24th. With the exception of photo submissions, all other standing contest rules will apply. Rules can be found on the website gebaballoon.org under CONTESTS.

Electronic voting will be open from May 1st through May 3rd. Click here to view the entries. Click here to access the ballot. You may vote for up to three photos. Winners will be announced on May 8th. This process will not become the norm as we will return to our traditional photo contest submissions and voting for the future.
